JARED Graves can pretty much ride anything.
The 2008 Olympian in BMX and mountain bike world champion added road cycling wins to his CV at the Toowoomba Two-Day event.
Graves dominated the two days winning Saturday's criterium at the Glenvale Criterium Track and Sunday's 74km road race around Goombungee.
The Toowoomba rider beat home Jacob Restell and Jayden Copp in the criterium before he was part of an initial seven-man breakaway in the road race.
The breakaway was whittled down to five about 3km from the finish line and Graves managed to close it out for the pleasing win, as he responded to queries over whether he could handle the climbs in the road race.
"It was a big weekend for him. Jared dominated for the two days," race director Dave Silk said.
The two-day event attracted a big field of 143 riders, with some checking out the Goombungee course which will be used during this week's Zarraffa's Coffee Oceania Cycling Championships.
Silk would have loved to have seen Graves contest the Oceanias but the third round of the Australian MTB Series is on in Victoria this weekend. Graves won the opening round and was runner-up in the second round.
"He could put his mountain bike away and he could fit straight into a professional (road) team," Silk said.
"I think he's got a national mountain bike event on this week. It's a shame. It would have been good to see."
