A LAVISH English manor built on the edge of Toowoomba is set to be broadcast into lounge rooms across the country and overseas tonight.
Grand Designs Australia will reveal the intricacies of building the unique $2.5 million four-bedroom Kara View Crt home overlooking Tabletop Mountain when it airs tonight.
Toowoomba builder and Downs Designer Homes owner Jeff Bubeck will be watching with an interested eye.
"I did many interviews, but nowhere near as many as (owners) Alistair and Sarah (Brodie-Fraser)," he said.
"There were probably 100 hours of footage taken for what will be a one-hour program.
"I haven't seen any sneak peeks or previews, so I will be as interested as everyone else when it goes to air."
The home is a recreation of an English manor on the Toowoomba escarpment and boasts four bedrooms, each with its own and bathroom, and cathedral ceilings.

The library, which Mr Bubeck described as "Harry Potter-styled", is 6m from floor to ceiling.
"It was a very complex and detailed build," he said.
"I would go as far as to say it is the best built, best quality and best finished home Downs Designer Homes has built.
"It really is a credit to the team of tradesmen and local sub-contractors and suppliers.
"The home was built in 12 months which, given early setbacks with weather, was a great achievement."
Mr Bubeck said the design was conceived by Mr Brodie-Fraser, an English national, and his wife Sarah.

"The owners ... took on a monumental task by selecting all finishes and material," Mr Bubeck said.
"Alistair really did his research and came up with some unique products for us to incorporate in the home.
"There were a lot of factors in building such as weather, terrain and scheduling, all of which were more of a challenge when working with the production team from GDA.
"Saying all that, they were very professional and an eye-opener to all of us about how the media worked."
The Kara View Crt home will feature tonight at 7.30 on the Lifestyle Channel.
