NEARLY four decades after two young nurses were found bound and bashed to death in Queensland's Lockyer Valley, several men suspected of their murder and a cover-up have been named for the first time.
In an extraordinary address to a reopened inquest in Brisbane yesterday, barrister Craig Chowdhury said it was a tragedy crucial witnesses and evidence had not emerged earlier about the murders of Wendy Evans, 18, and Lorraine Wilson, 20, in 1974.
