A man and woman have been charged with assaulting police in Toowoomba on southern Queensland's Darling Downs.
Police say two officers were attacked when they investigated reports of a disturbance at a home at Harristown yesterday afternoon.
A 34-year-old man is due to appear in the magistrates court today charged with obstructing and seriously assaulting police.
A 36-year-old woman is due to appear in court next month on similar charges.
Police are investigating the discovery of drugs and drug-related chemicals at the home.
