POLICE have seized a truck involved in a suspected hit-and-run which killed a man on the Warrego Highway, west of Brisbane.
The body of a 27-year-old man was found dead on the Warrego Highway at Helidon about 3.50am on Sunday.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said initial investigations suggested the man was hit by a vehicle but could not say what the man was doing on the highway in the early hours of the morning.
It has been reported witnesses saw the man walking in the middle of the road.
Police confirmed investigators were talking to a truck driver believed to have been involved in the incident after his truck was seized at the Toowoomba PCYC markets on Sunday morning.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
