A body, believed to be that of missing Queensland man Ralph Cranston, has been found in the Condamine River.
Mr Cranston was last seen driving his 1991 blue and silver Nissan Patrol four-wheel-drive on Toowoomba-Karara Road in Leyburn near Warwick, west of Brisbane, about 8.30pm last Friday.
He was travelling with his black rottweiler named Bear.
The 64-year-old was wearing an iridescent work shirt and shorts.
A male's body was found in the Condamine River near Felton, about 30 kilometres south of Leyburn, at 11am on Wednesday.
‘‘The family of the missing man has been informed,’’ police said in a statement.
Formal identification of the body is yet to be completed.
The fate of Mr Cranston’s dog is not known.
