POLICE are investigating possible links between a man who was found dead in his home in Toowoomba and the sexual assaults of two women over the age of 70.
A police spokeswoman said a man entered a home in Drayton and assaulted a woman in her 70s about 11am Monday.
Then about 4.15am, a man entered another home in North Toowoomba and assaulted a woman in her 80s.
Police said the death of the 36-year-old man was not suspicious.
