USQ gets off the mark with Premier Men's win - Toowoomba Chronicle



USQ has finally got its Football Toowoomba Premier Men's title defence off the mark with a 2-1 win over Gatton.


It has taken until round 10 for defending premiers USQ to post their first win of the season when they downed Gatton by one goal at Toara Park.


Willowburn was also on the winner's list after recording two draws when the Magpies downed West Wanderers 2-0.


And Laidley scored once in both halves to post a comfortable 2-0 victory over South Hawks.


Meanwhile, Rockville and Gatton split the points in their Premier Women's match at the weekend.


Willowburn did a great service to its goal difference when the Magpies posted a 12-0 win over West Wanderers.


Football Toowoomba action will be back after the general bye for this week's long weekend.
