Man hospitalised after James St crash - Toowoomba Chronicle


UPDATE: A man had to be cut free from the passenger seat of a sedan after the car and a ute collided at the intersection of James and Kitchener St.


Eastbound traffic on James St was reduced to one lane and Kitchener St was blocked in both directions about 10.13am while the scene was cleared.


Firefighters used a hydraulic cutting tool to remove the door of the car before the man was loaded onto a stretcher and into an ambulance.


He was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash was reported about 10.15am.


Two motorists are being treated by paramedics at the scene.


Queensland Fire and Emergency Service officers are using hydraulic cutting equipment to free two motorists from one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
