A TOOWOOMBA grandmother who won a first division prize of more than $624,000 in Saturday Gold Lotto said her winning numbers came to her in a dream.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was overjoyed when Golden Casket confirmed yesterday that she had won a share in division one worth $624,516.12 in the weekend's draw.
"Is this true?" the winner questioned. "I'm trembling at the moment!
"I dreamt those winning numbers more than 10 years ago.
"I remember I woke up in the morning and thought I better write the numbers down before I forgot them.
"I've been playing them ever since!
"I've always joked that I was going to win the big one, one day... now something beautiful has happened."
When asked what she planned to do with her Saturday Gold Lotto windfall, the excited winner replied, "Who knows at this stage. But I'd say I'll most likely invest in property and perhaps do some travel."
The winning 12-game marked entry was bought at Wilsonton Newsagency.
Throughout Australia, there were seven entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto's estimated $4 million division one prize pool, each worth $624,516.12.
Along with the winning entry from Toowoomba, another two winning tickets were bought in Queensland, two were sold in Victoria and two in Western Australia.
The other winning entries from Queensland were bought online from Tatts.com.
