RUGBY LEAGUE: Toowoomba can seal the Brisbane Women's Rugby League Second Division minor premiership with victory today over Waterford at Clive Berghofer Stadium.
The Fillies led the competition by two points heading into this weekend's penultimate round.
They host second-placed Waterford today and a win will see the Fillies take an unassailable lead heading into the final round next weekend.
The game will be played before the TRL elimination semi-finals so the Fillies could have some parochial support in the top-of-the-table match-up.
Toowoomba will just be keen to get on the park and play well though after not playing its past two matches due to opponents forfeiting.
Kick-off between Toowoomba and Waterford is at 12pm today at Clive Berghofer Stadium.
