Ag Show set to welcome huge crowds today - Toowoomba Chronicle

GRAHAM Blanch reckons by getting to the Heritage Bank Toowoomba Ag Show early, his charolais bulls have a chance to settle in before the crowds arrive.

Mr Blanch runs Charnelle Charolais in Tent Hill and has made the trip to the annual event for the past 18 years.

"I'd be one of the longest running exhibitors in the bull sale," he said.

Mr Blanch was yesterday settling his 16 charolais bulls in at the Toowoomba Showgrounds ahead of the first day of the Ag Show.

He said it was the repeat buyers and the large crowds that kept him coming back to the event each year.

"It's also a close venue to our operation in Gatton," he said.

The stud bull sale starts at 10am tomorrow at the Cattle Pavilion.

The Heritage Bank Toowoomba Ag Show kicks off today and gates open at 8.30am.

Entry is $5.
