WILLOWBURN will shoot for the Football Toowoomba Premier Grade double after the Magpies women won through to the grand final.

Willowburn beat Highfields 1-0 in a tight Premier Women's preliminary final at Middle Ridge Park on Sunday to book a place in this Sunday's grand final against Rockville.

The Magpies will be in action alongside the club's Premier Men's team, who will take on Gatton in the decider after the Redbacks scored a 2-1 victory over South Hawks in Sunday's preliminary final.

Gatton scored first but Hawks were able to hit back to make it 1-1 at half-time.

The Redbacks then slotted what proved to be the winning goal in the second half and then held on to progress to the decider.
