Traffic jam: Ring road works delayed by three months - Toowoomba Chronicle

THE completion date of the Toowoomba CBD outer circulating road extension project has been put back by three months.

Toowoomba Regional Council infrastructure committee acting chairman Cr Chris Tait said the project would now be complete in March 2015.

The contractor, Probuild Civil, had originally aimed to complete the project by the end of this year.

"This extension is primarily due to the technical challenges faced by the contractor in constructing a major piece of road and bridge infrastructure in a physically constrained site," Cr Tait said.
