RAINCOATS and umbrellas are set to be a popular accessory today and tomorrow according to the latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology.
An increased chance of showers and storms are expected to hit Toowoomba and the Darling Downs in the coming days.
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster David Bernard said there would be a high chance of significant falls.
"A trough moving in from the west will bring more wet weather," he said.

"The highest potential for heavy downpours will be early in the week, however the threat of rain will stick around until next weekend.
"A broad low-pressure system combined with extra humidity in the atmosphere has made it the ideal conditions for storms."
A heavy shower Saturday afternoon dumped 20mm of rain in Toowoomba, however only 4mm fell yesterday.
The weekend's highest rainfall recordings were at Ripple Downs, 60mm while 55mm fell near Goondiwindi.
