OVER $1.5 million worth of machinery was on display when a Jaguar enthusiast club met in Toowoomba yesterday.
Dozens of the luxury cars were exhibited at the Jaguar Drivers' Club Queensland Darling Downs Register's annual show and shine at Regents on the Lake.
Club secretary Kieran Lillis said it was an opportunity for members to polish up their cars and put them on display.
"It's also a good publicity opportunity to let the public know what we do and we usually get a few new members," he said.
Sixty members attended including 20 from the Darling Downs region.

Mr Lillis said the primary goal of the club was the restoration and continuation of the cars.
"We focus on the older cars, but people with new Jaguars can also join," he said.
The Jaguar enthusiast said the cars were cherished by members because they were sporty and had a touch of luxury.
"They have racing history, but at the same time they have beautiful leather and polished walnut dashes," he said.
