    The Queensland Police Service in conjunction with the Department of Transport and Main Roads have conducted upgrades to a number of existing red light camera sites in the Toowoomba area to improve road safety at intersections controlled by traffic signals. Road safety cameras are about promoting compliance to signals and travelling through intersections at appropriate speeds.
