blaze sparked by electrical fault in car - NEWS.com.au

AN electrical fault in a vehicle is believed to have triggered a blaze that engulfed a shed in the Darling Downs tonight.

Fire fighters said the tin shed was well involved by the time six crews arrived at Lucy Street, Cambooya, at 8.15pm.

The vehicle that was parked inside the 10mx6m shed was destroyed by the flames, a QFRS spokesman said.

Residents were evacuated and paramedics treated a female fire fighter at the scene after she got smoke debris in her eye.

Toowoomba police said the fire was ruled non-suspicious and sparked by an electrical fault in the vehicle.
