A CONSEQUENCE of the over-regulation madness ("We should send nanny packing as Danes have done", 19/12) is the dumbing down of the latest generation to attain adulthood. They should be 10 times smarter than us oldies.
After all, look at all the information at their fingertips. No-one working in a call centre is allowed to use their common sense -- they certainly are not allowed to admit their company may be at fault. This young generation is no more stupid than we were. But they are being dumbed down by a lack of proper training.
