A MAN has been killed and another person injured when their car crashed on a rural road in Queensland.
About 5am, the two people were in a car on Nathan Rd at Cockatoo north of Wandoan, about 330km north-west of Toowoomba, when it crashed.
It’s believed the man who died was the driver of the car.
The passenger, whose gender and age is unknown, was taken to Taroom Hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
Parts of the road are closed around the crash site and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
