Jockey Jacquelyn Brown has been suspended for a month following a verbal stoush with fellow rider Skye Bogenhuber at Toowoomba on Saturday.
Brown and Bogenhuber were involved in a heated exchange in the female jockeys room after the first race at Clifford Park which prompted a stewards inquiry.
After being found guilty of improper conduct, Brown left the inquiry without the permission of stewards and was stood down until the hearing was reconvened on Tuesday.
Brown committed a similar breach in May last year with stewards suspending a month of that sentence on the condition she did not reoffend in the ensuing 12 months.
Because Saturday night's incident fell within the 12 month timeframe, stewards invoked the previous suspension and outed her for a month.
Her penalty started at midnight on Tuesday and ends on March 5.
Brown was also fined $500 for the nature of the comments she directed at Bogenhuber.
In addition, she was found guilty of improper conduct for leaving the initial inquiry without permission, using inappropriate language and leaving the track without a clearance from stewards.
That earned her another month-long suspension with stewards ruling the penalties be served concurrently.
It is the fourth time Brown has breached the rules governing conduct in the past four years.
Stewards have told her any further infringements will incur additional penalties and a referral to Racing Queensland Licensing for possible further action.
