Toowoomba Carnival Of Flowers Grand Parade To Be Run at a Different Time
21 March 2013 , 3:56 PM by Belinda Sanders
All around Toowoomba gardeners are planting getting ready for the annual Carnival of Flowers.
In 6 months time the city will come alive as thouands of tourists make their way to Toowoomba to celebrate spring.
One of the biggest attractions for visitors and locals alike is the annual grand floral parade.
It's been winding its way through the city centre streets every September since 1950. Over the years the route has changed and the street scape has changed, in 2013 there'll be another change.
The start time is being moved back by 3 hours.
Councillor Geoff McDonald holds the environment and community portfolio for the Toowoomba Regional Council.
