Man charged over fatal stabbing in Toowoomba - ABC Local

A man has been charged with murder after a woman was stabbed to death at Toowoomba on Queensland's Darling Downs.

Officers found the wounded 29-year-old after being called to a house in the northern suburb of Wilsonton Heights just before 10pm (AEST) last night.

She was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

Police say a 30-year-old man was arrested nearby a short time later.

He is due to face court today.
