A 44-YEAR-OLD man was charged with seven drug offences after police raided his North Toowoomba home.

Darling Downs District Tactical Crime Squad officers this morning found about 185 grams of marijuana which was weighed and packed into small clipseal bags.

Cash, which was alleged to be the proceeds of crime, was also seized as well as electronic scales, telephones and documentation.

Darling Downs district officer Detective Acting Inspector Paul Hart said the seizure would disrupt the supply of marijuana in the area.

"Police are continuing to act on drug information at every opportunity," Det. Act. Insp Hart said.

The man is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on September 24.
