LAST month's inaugural Fiji International winner Steven Jeffress is part of a strong professional field teeing up in tomorrow's Toowoomba BMW Middle Ridge Pro Am.

Sixty PGA Tour professionals will battle for $27,500 in prize money on the day which features a total of 200 players.

A shotgun start gets play underway from 7am and 12.15pm.

Jeffress - fresh from his $193,800 Fiji payday - hits off in the afternoon session.

Joining Jeffress in the field is last week's Queensland Open runner-up Tom Bond from South Australia.

Bond's Queensland Open score card included a brilliant opening round of five-under par on the testing Brookwater layout.

Defending Middle Ridge Pro Am champions Heath Read and Aaron Pike also return to Toowoomba tomorrow looking for back-to-back title wins.

They shared last year's first prize money after returning four-under-par scores.

The host club will be represented by Johnathon Zirkler. Other past and present Toowoomba players lining up include Richard Backwell, Sam Eaves, Ian Esson and Brenton Fowler.
