Police hunt for home invaders - Toowoomba Chronicle


TOOWOOMBA Police are on the hunt for two women aged in their 20s after a home invasion this morning.


A Police Media spokesman said the two women forced their way into an East Toowoomba home about 9am and overcame the woman in residence, gaffer taping her body and mouth.


They went on to search the home, taking a small amount of money before running away.


The victim was shaken, but unharmed in the incident.


Police cars were stationed at intersections around the area, but the women are still at large.


Both women are described as being possibly Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, in their early 20s, about 160cm with light brown complexions and bad teeth.


The first woman was wearing a black hooded-jumper with white writing, black jeans, black socks and thongs and pink sunglasses.


The second was also described as having a heavy build and wearing a light navy hooded-jumper with green, yellow and red pyjama pants and dark sunglasses. She was also carrying a blue bag.
