Startup Toowoomba co-founders Leanne Griffin and David Masefield are calling for local entrepreneurs to join in the inaugural Startup Weekend from 14 to 16 November in Toowoomba.
INNOVATION on the Darling Downs will explode onto the global scene in a big way thanks to Startup Toowoomba's participation in the biggest Startup competition in the world.
Startup Toowoomba will hold its inaugural Startup Weekend from 14 to 16 November.
The weekend is no talk and all action where participants can launch a Startup venture in 54 hours.
Startup Toowoomba co-founder David Masefield said the opportunities for budding entrepreneurs were unparalleled.
"In just one weekend people can pitch ideas, form teams, build and launch their very own business or venture," Mr Masefield said.
"The sky's the limit really.
"All you need is enthusiasm and a little creativity.
"Business or tech experience is not necessary because all participants are mentored throughout the weekend by some of Toowoomba and Australia's best minds."
