Paul Barac met his wife at university.. he was studying medicine, his wife computer programming.
They are now married with four children. But in thie middle there somewhere.. their home country shifted into civil war.. and it was either be arrested or worse for being a traitor for simply not going to war against their friends or leave.
They chose to leave and ended up moving to Toowoomba by gaining refugee status.
Since then Dr Paul Barac has been trying to work in his chosen profession - medicine.
The 10 year cut off is almost up.
