PALMER United Party Senator Jacqui Lambie has told a radio station she wants a man who "doesn't have to speak", but is wealthy and has a "good package".

Senator Lambie made the comments during a lively interview on radio station heart 107.3 on Tuesday.

The senator, who said she had not had a relationship for 11 years, due to a long recovery from her time in the military, said she wanted few attributes for a potential partner.

Among those Senator Lambie said she would like, was for a man who was "wealthy", and had a "good package", she joked with radio presenters.
