Fears over chemotherapy cuts - The Australian

UP to 30 cancer doctors and patient advocates will descend on Canberra on Wednesday to lobby MPs over cuts to the price of a key chemotherapy drug which they argue is costing pharmacists up to $1 million a week in lost earnings.

The Australian understands the representatives, including patient advocacy groups such as canSpeak, the Cancer Council of Australia and several specialist oncologists, will express concerns about the impact of the cancer drug price cuts on hospital budgets.
