Queensland police are investigating a fire that caused extensive damage to a vacant house in South Toowoomba.
Police say that they were advised that a house on James Street was well engulfedin flames.
'The blaze was extinguished and no one was injured during the incident,' police said.
'At this stage, the incident is being treated as suspicious and a crime scene has been established at the location.'
They say that scientific squad officershave taken up continuing investigations into the cause of the blaze.
